WEEK ONE: READY. SET. SUMMER.

Get clear. Get moving. Get your brain on board.

It’s here. The start of the Ready. Set. Summer! challenge. And if you’re reading this, you’re in.

This week isn’t about doing things perfectly. It’s about getting going—because change needs momentum, and momentum starts when we take action.

And don’t worry if you’ve felt stuck for a while. Everyone starts somewhere. This is about building a rhythm, not chasing results.

Here’s What You Do:

Every day, set three small goals. That’s it.

  • Make them personal. What would help you feel better, stronger, clearer today?

  • Keep them realistic. We’re building habits, not pushing for heroics.

  • Write them down, post them in the private facebook group or share with a buddy. Science shows you’re 65% more likely to follow through when you do.

Whatever you choose—make it doable. And do it for you.

Why This Works

Small goals might seem… well, small. But they’re your brain’s favourite place to start.

Your subconscious needs repetition, not pressure. Each time you take action, even tiny ones, you’re laying down a new habit loop in the brain. And those loops? That’s where lasting change happens.

This week, we’re building the foundation.

✔️ You’re proving to yourself that you can follow through.
✔️ You’re reminding your brain what matters to you.
✔️ You’re creating evidence that you’re moving forward.

If You Wobble?

That’s expected. Totally normal. Don’t overthink it—just reset with three goals the next day. The trick is not never slipping up—it’s not quitting when you do.

Quick Science Hit

Here’s why this challenge is smart:

  • Dopamine (your brain’s motivation chemical) increases every time you complete a goal. You start craving that feel-good feeling—so change becomes easier to repeat.

  • Your prefrontal cortex (the decision-making part of your brain) lights up when goals are clear and achievable. Ambiguity switches it off. Simplicity keeps it engaged.

And when you say goals out loud or post them, you activate the brain’s accountability circuit. That’s why sharing in the group or with a buddy works so well.

So… What Now?

Pick three small goals today:

  • Write them down.
  • Do them.
  • Celebrate it

Then do it again tomorrow. Let the science do the rest.

This is your week to start moving forward. Not perfectly. Just consistently.

Ready. Set. Summer. Let’s go.
