In the live, I talked about a concept from The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson. He describes how every action you take is either moving you towards the life you want — or away from it.

It’s not about big leaps. It’s about the 1% decisions:

  • Choosing to pause before eating when you’re stressed
  • Walking for five minutes when you didn’t feel like it
  • Pressing play on your Slimpod audio — even when life feels chaotic

Each action compounds. And the effect over time is identity change.

Write down (or say aloud) why this matters to you. Make it emotional and not logical.
“I want to feel confident walking into my daughter’s wedding.”

Recording your wins and celebrating them tells your brain I want more of these moments. Overtime small actions lead to big changes. 

3. Set a Weekly Micro Goal

Not “get to the gym every day”.
Try “put on my trainers each morning”. Or “play my Slimpod every night”.
Small enough to do. Powerful enough to shift identity.

4. Visualise the Compound Effect

For 30 seconds a day, picture the future version of you:
The person who trusts herself around food and feels calm and in control.
That image becomes a magnet — your subconscious starts pulling you towards it.

5. Track One Mindset Shift Daily

Not food or calories, but track one moment where you made a different choice.
That’s the evidence your brain needs to believe: this time, I’m really changing.
