Kevin Morris, a nurse at Tameside hospital, Manchester, has lost more than 30lbs in 14 weeks on a Slimpod. “I was cynical at first. I said ‘Right, how can just listening to a recording each night help you lose weight?’
“But I found that the more you listen to a Slimpod, the more focussed you become and you definitely want to exercise more and cut down on your food intake.
“I’ve lost just over 30lbs so far but my weight loss is ongoing and I’m confident I can lose a lot more.
“I’m probably eating a third of what I was eating before. Before Slimpod I had a real problem with crisps – I could eat two, three, four packets a day, no problem.
“My old uniform used to be tight!”
“But since I started Slimpod four months ago I haven’t had any crisps whatsoever! My evening meals are a third of what they used to be, I don’t eat any carbohydrates and very little fat.
“I do have little treats because I love my Indian food and I like having a drink. But doing the Slimpod doesn’t make you feel as if you’re on a diet so if I want a drink or an ice cream then I’ll have one without a problem.
“When I started my Slimpod I struggled to walk upstairs without getting out of breath, which is one of the reasons I wanted to try Slimpod out.
“Can’t believe I used to wear this for work”
“My family have now all adopted the same eating habits as me. My wife has lost weight as a result and the kids haven’t even noticed that we’re eating more healthily.
“They’re quite happy because you don’t have to eat lettuce and salad for every meal – you can eat good healthy food, what I would call normal food. For breakfast now I always have porridge.”
